Wireless Switching systems used to add multiple switching positions

Client requested additional switch added at bottom of stairs for Lounge light.

Recently moved in to a nice looking home and explained I would normally need to channel the walls and lift the flooring upstairs to add a switch which ended with a look of horror as expected.....

I then explained we could use the wireless system which is a Godsend in situations like this......

I managed to source and match the clients existing screwless range with the Varilight options for the Kinetic switches. I replaced the 1 gang switch at bottom of stairs for a 2 Gang option, 1 as normal and 1 Kinetic switch, The light fitting had enough space in top of it for the Mini Module receiver which will also allow for wiring of a normal switch and also operate as a 2 way switch. The original switch by the front door was left in place as it was and all works fine, These units are also WiFi and Dimmable.
